Dom, Dorset

Jane has been amazing to work with. After just 5 sessions I have noticed a material difference in the way I feel and think about things that have bothered me for years. Jane made a great effort to accommodate for my needs, working around my timetable. Because of this and Janes approach to her work with me it felt as though she cared massively about improving my mental state and wanted to make every effort to help me.

Traci, Shropshire

My sessions with Jane were helpful, I felt heard, understood and supported.

Jane is patient and clearly helped me understand the process and expectations of therapy and ensured consent at each step.

I found the benefits of EMDR very subtle but definite- I feel less on guard at times and also I am now able to enjoy a whole back catalogue of music that I have avoided for the last 20 years.

This may not sound important but to me it’s a true gift  being able to enjoy music again without feeling triggered or wanting to leave a situation.

I am also able to acknowledge the abuse I suffered was never my fault but the responsibility of my abuser.

My journey of recovery is ongoing but I thank Jane for her skills, time and support and compassion.

Aazim, South London

Working with Jane during this process has been massively helpful and EMDR was the perfect tool to achieve what I wanted to and process occurrences in my life in a way which has massively and will hopefully continue to help me. I would highly recommend, and I am very glad I went through this.

Jane really has been just an overall brilliant woman to work with. Each session she would listen and advise me on areas that I wanted to work on but also help me dig a little deeper into the route cause of each area. She really catered to my needs with the way she would advise me, allowing me to understand and thrive with the working methods we used.
I honestly could not recommend Jane enough. She has changed my life and given me back confidence and control. Helping me see a much broader perspective on my life and picking up on a wider variety of areas than I originally thought I wanted to work on.
She made me feel very safe, was very open and non-judgemental, allowing me to feel comfortable speaking to her about all aspects of my life so we could work around the root causes. Working with Jane has increased my quality of life and ability to fully enjoy and make my life into what I want it to be

My experience with Jane as a therapist was transformational.  Jane was incredibly insightful, compassionate and empathic and taught me to view myself in a new light.  I am hugely grateful of this experience and know that hit has drastically changed my life for the better.

RJ, Shropshire

I approached commencing therapy with extreme anxiety, for many reasons; as soon as I spoke to Jane, I instantly knew I had been pointed in the right direction – open, empathic, flexible and honest from the get-go. From going from barely able to function on a day-2-day basis, I am now not only back doing the job I love, but loving life!

Assessment Testimonials

Amy, Telford

Jane made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Everything was explained clearly, she was patient and actively listened. For the first time, I felt acknowledged by a medical professional. Jane’s ethical approach regarding the screening process also put her above other services for me. The report I’ve received is thorough and well detailed; I was surprised at how much Jane had captured (especially with the many tangents I went off on!)

Now I’m ready to begin another chapter in my life, moving forward, working on understanding myself more and accepting me for me.

Rebecca, Nottingham

What I appreciated most about my ADHD assessment with Jane was the time she took to truly understand my personal experiences, leaving me feeling heard and validated. I was initially quite nervous about starting this process, but Jane provided exceptional support throughout and her recommendations for next steps were clear and tailored to my specific needs. I have already recommended Jane to someone I know and will continue to do so without hesitation. I am incredibly grateful for her help and can’t thank her enough!

LS, Shrewsbury

I was nervous at my first appointment with Dr Jane but she put me at ease, I felt very comfortable and always listened to. Jane constantly checked in to make sure I was doing ok and if I needed a break during our appointments. Overall I am glad I decided to have the assessment and that I did it with Jane. She helped make my experience a positive one.

S. Lloyd, South West London

Jane provided a supportive and thorough approach to an experience I expected to be considerably overwhelming. At each stage, I was met with kindness and understanding and by the time I received my diagnosis I felt completely validated and relieved. Jane took me through the next steps, ensuring I was armed with the knowledge and documents required to seek treatment. I felt very comfortable being honest and open with Jane, which is crucial when undergoing such a vulnerable process.

Your professional & kind approach to diagnosing our family’s ADHD has made everything so much easier. Having the diagnosis has given us plenty of lightbulb moments as well as injecting humour. Our greater understanding and self compassion has helped the whole family. Thanks again

AT – July 2023, Stafford

I contacted Dr Jane Graham via her website and she was very quick to respond with the information I required. I booked an assessment about possible ADHD. What I liked about Care to Change is that you have a full initial mental health assessment to rule out any other possible mental health diagnosis before the ADHD assessment. I found this a very ethical and patient centred way as ADHD assessments are expensive. The 2 assessment sessions I completed were very detailed, and I felt at ease with Dr Jane Graham. The sessions were completed via zoom and I felt this was as good as a face to face assessment. I Highly recommend care to change…The [NHS] nurse said my assessment was the best private assessment they have seen.

HM, Telford

Dr Graham was very easy to talk to, I was able to be completely honest with her and it made the whole process very easy.

Nigel F, Birmingham

I felt at ease throughout, you explained everything well and in detail, made me feel comfortable in all our interactions, I felt supported and understood, I never once felt judged, it’s given me so many answers and insight into how my brain is wired.

Ruby, Surrey

My experience with Jane has been nothing but positive, I had done my research before choosing where to go and Jane stood out to me by a long way! She was very kind, calm and explained everything in a manner that I could easily understand, which is something I struggle with a lot in these situations. I have finally got a better understanding of myself and I know this experience will benefit me in many different ways in the future. If you are looking for someone, I would highly recommend her. Thank you Jane, you’ve made such a difference and I can now get the support I need!

ES, West Midlands

Very happy with the assessment process. It felt comfortable despite analysing life experiences extensively. It even helped to point out some things I’d never even noticed in myself. Jane was understanding, and gave me room to think things through at my own pace. She didn’t make me feel pressured in any way. Now I have my diagnosis, I’m able to move forward with this knowledge, and use it to my advantage.

CH, Surrey

I can highly recommend Jane’s diagnostic service. From our initial query onwards, each step of the diagnostic process was clearly communicated and any questions we had were answered promptly and in detail. Most importantly, our son felt supported and safe through what was a very difficult time for him

DW, Reading

Really happy with the care and professionalism from Jane. She made a thorough assessment and talked me through behaviours and which of them referred to my ADHD and which were from other events. I was diagnosed promptly with a breakdown of which traits related to my ADHD. I also received an overview of the treatments available, side effects, as well therapies that may be appropriate. Very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend.

ST, Wolverhampton

I saw Jane after my GP told me I had symptoms of ADHD, but that I’d have to wait months for a consultation with the NHS. Jane was upfront with what the process would involve, and during the assessments she was friendly and attentive. The questions were focussed and structured, so that I felt like I was in good hands. All in all, I’m very glad that I decided to go through with the assessment, and am hopeful it will make a tangible difference to my life.

Ian W, Surrey

Jane it has been a blessing that we were recommended to you…after 10 years of  our daughter being misdiagnosed it is a relief for her to now have a level of understanding and a positive future life living with ADHD. You have been prompt , thorough and efficient in all dealings we as a family have had with you. We can not thank you enough.

Victoria, Shrewsbury

I found the process from the initial contact with Jane through to my assessment seamless and straightforward. Jane has a unique way of putting people at ease, she certainly did with me. It was a big decision to request an ADHD assessment at the age of nearly 40 but I felt that Jane really understood me and my unique way of travelling through life! I never once felt judged and it was so validating to finally have someone understand what I’ve been dealing with since childhood. I could not recommend her enough.

JR, Nottingham

After a negative experience trying to get treatment through the NHS, Jane was a breath of fresh air, and was both thorough and compassionate in her assessment. She was open and honest about the process, and was reassuring throughout.

Many thanks for all your help over the past months. I realise it’ll be a long journey but I’m feeling a lot more confident now that it’s one I can navigate if I’m kind to myself

I was looking for some help with the practical aspects of living with ADHD as an adult, and Jane really made it clear for me, helping with time management. Her friendliness and warmth made collaborating with her very easy, and I am leaving her with a better understanding of myself and my condition.
